SMC+ Wafters are a great hook bait to use when you want to match the bottom bait’s but have your hook bait slightly lighter so it will go into the carp’s mouth easier than the free offerings. The wafters are made up with a pop-up mix but we add the same SMC+ base mix to balance them out and give them a bit more weight than a popup. Not only is the base mix used in the wafter but also high-quality attractants and flavours giving you the potent Squid and Monster Crab smell which gives them an added to boost their effectiveness. Just remember if you add a glug to wafters it will affect their buoyancy so they may not waft about as much but they will still be lighter than your free offerings.
Please note that we do not use synthetic dyes only water-soluble dyes so hook baits may look more washed out over a long period of time but water-soluble dyes are far better for the fish and the environment and who doesn’t like a washed out bait.
