Apex Baits Milky Spod and Zig mix is a Premium mix due to the ingredients used. The zig and spod mix is made up of fine and ground grain and seeds with added Milk Protein that carp crave for and this gives off a rich milky cloud in the water. When using our milky mix, the fine gain and seeds very slowly flutter down to the lake bed, creating a awesome milky cloud as it goes. Then the fine ground particles fizz up and down in the water columns within the cloud of milk protein, attracting fish from all depths. If you’ve been fishing zigs all day and the bites have slowed up, don’t forget about the stuff on the lake bed. In the cooking process, we leave the milk protein to infuse into the larger grain and seeds so they keep oozing out their milky goodness that carp absolutely love.
