Apex Baits High Protein Maple Spod Mix is the same as our Maple Maize Spod mix but without the maize. This mix is very popular on waters with high bird activity because of its dark colour, if it had the yellow maize in it, it would be a lot easier for the diving birds to see and find your baited spot. Within the mix you will find you maples that are an all time classic carp bait and these will make great hook baits once cooked. This mix is not only a high quality spod mix but is also perfect for using with a bait boat. When the maples are cooked the give of a milky cloud to the mix makes a great attractor for the carp as it leaks through the water columns and will bring them down to your baited spot. The other fine seeds will keep them sifting around on your baited area till they find your hook bait.
Please Note this product must be cooked before use. Soak for 24 hours then boil for around 30 minute. Make sure the maize is cooked all the way through and the other particles are soft when crushed.
